My photographs are often made by combining analog and digital technologies. In the series Loading, I was interested in how we measure time digitally. I started looking at loading circles- the kind that you see when you wait for a website to load. I wanted to make a record of the time spent waiting in this digital loading zone, so I took a projector into a darkroom and made photograms of the loading circle in motion. These unique silver gelatin photograms are 20x24 inches.
